Steven I. Kornbleuth, MD
Diplomate American Board of Dermatology

Dr. Kornbleuth is a well respected, Board Certified Dermatologist who has been practicing in Massachusetts for nearly a decade.

Dr. Kornbleuth is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Massachusetts Medical Society and Massachusetts Dermatology Association. He is also an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

A graduate of Dickinson College and George Washington University Medical School, Dr. Kornbleuth finished as Valedictorian of his medical school class in 1994. After completing his Internship year at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, he completed his Residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Kornbleuth specializes in both Adult and Pediatric Dermatology as well as Cosmetic Dermatology- including Botox and Laser treatments. He is on staff at several area hospitals including Melrose-Wakefield, Newton-Wellesley, St. Elizabeth’s and Beth Israel Deaconess Needham

Over the years Dr. Kornbleuth has authored several articles in his field and tested new dermatological treatments, keeping him at the cutting edge in his field.



Mark S. Amster, MD
Diplomate American Board of Dermatology

Dr. Amster is a highly regarded Board Certified Dermatologist who has been practicing in Massachusetts for Eleven Years.

Dr. Amster is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Member of the Board of Directors-Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, Member of The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, The Massachusetts Medical Society, and the New England Dermatological Society

Dr. Amster received his Undergraduate Degree from State University New York at Binghamton, where he graduated with Honors (Phi Beta Kappa.) He received his Medical Degree from New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, then completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Boston VA Medical Center, Boston City Hospital and Tufts New England Medical Center. He then completed his Residency in Dermatology at University of Buffalo.

Dr. Amster has been Director of Dermatology at Boston Clinical Trials since 2002. He is the principal investigator for many clinical trials involving drugs and devices (including laser) for the treatment of a variety of skin conditions. He is aware of the most up to date treatment and procedures.

Dr. Amster specializes in Adult and Pediatric Dermatology, Cutaneous Oncology and Cosmetic Dermatology. He is on staff at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham.



Stephen A. Sohn, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Diplomate American Board of Plastic Surgery

Dr. Sohn is an internationally known and respected Board Certified plastic surgeon with over 25 years experience in aesthetic medicine in Boston. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery with a long-standing special interest in both non-surgical and surgical techniques for achieving aesthetic enhancement.

Dr. Sohn is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He holds an A.B. from Harvard University and an MD from Duke University. He did his plastic surgical residency at the Harvard Medical School and served on its faculty for many years.

Dr. Sohn has published two textbooks in plastic surgery as well as numerous articles in the field. His first book was written while working with the renowned Swedish plastic surgeon, Professor Tord Skoog. His second book, The Fundamentals of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, has helped plastic surgeons worldwide master the exacting skills required in aesthetic plastic surgery, medical aesthetics and enhancements.

Selected by Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox® Cosmetic, Dr. Sohn has been one of two national physician educators credentialed to introduce and train other plastic surgeons, dermatologists and ophthalmologists in the use of Botox® Cosmetic throughout New England. He has also helped pioneer the concept of wrinkle correction with use of fillers.



Min S. Ahn, MD
Facial Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Ahn received his undergraduate education at Harvard University, graduating cum laude, and attended the George Washington University School of Medicine, graduating with distinction. In medical school he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society as both a 3rd and 4th year medical student. He completed his surgical training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the highly acclaimed University of California at San Francisco, annually ranked as one of the best hospitals in the country.

After practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Ahn returned to New England to raise his family near his hometown of Providence, RI. He has authored many publications on facial cosmetic surgery procedures and is an invited speaker at national and international facial plastic surgery meetings. Dr. Ahn is one of only 22 surgeons in New England to achieve board certification in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Ahn specializes in facial aesthetic rejuvenation and understands that patients need individualized care depending on their goals and expectations. Using his artistic eye, surgical experience and wide-ranging skills, he guides his clients through this highly personal process- whether it is a minimally invasive treatment or a cosmetically transforming surgery.



Elizabeth M. Barrett, RN, MS, APRN, BC

Elizabeth is an experienced nurse and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has worked in numerous emergency rooms across the country. She settled in Massachusetts in 2003 to concentrate her practice in dermatology.

Elizabeth is an active member of the Massachusetts chapter of the Dermatology Nurses Association. She graduated with honors from James Madison University with a BSN and RN. She earned an MS at Northeastern University and is credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Interested in both medical and cosmetic dermatology for all ages, Elizabeth has special interest in treatment of acne and rosacea. She is also trained in Botox® for cosmetic purposes and several different lasers. She loves to travel and has participated in healthcare volunteer missions in both the Caribbean and Central America.

Watch for her name change in July when she will be married and known thereafter as Mrs. Elizabeth MacPherson!
